How are coping skills built? Are any of these answers or good options?
- Tell yourself “hang in there” and then hold on to remote possibilities for a reprieve.
- Walk the fine line between denial and abandonment.
- Make small decisions.
- Listen to what people are saying but don’t believe them unless they are positive and supportive.
- Push for resolution of situations. Better to xxx than to yyy.
- Recognize that “be patient” may be a viable alternative.
