Why aren’t men very good at relationships?

Most men find what they think of as fulfillment in their achievements; most women find it in relationships. (see p146 of The Shack by Wm. Paul Young)

Can you imagine life with a completely different focus? If it could be indisputably proven the first half of your life is over, how would you change to live the second half?

Worded a little differently, if you could never surmount your most noteworthy achievements of the past, would you be willing to redirect your dedication so that others might also achieve their most noteworthy achievementss.

"…filling roles is the opposite of relationship." (The Shack, p 148)

If filling the caregiver role brought you into deeper relationship with your loved one, how great would that be!
