Caregivers are just people too. They live, they breathe, and they die. The difference from a non-Caregiver is what’s inside. Perhaps they carry the losses of a loved one so greatly that they are insane with grief. Maybe they are not so good at keeping separate the public and private images of their life.
Nothing says you must become a caregiver. Probably that is the reason most men are not nurturing individuals: it is not an obligation.
For those of us who experience Caregiving on a personal level, without a doubt the care-receiver is grateful for all benefits received. Thank you for caring.
