Formation of Coping Skills – Exercise #31 (Overwhelming Responsibility)

No doubt about it: Caregiving sucks at least part of the time for some of the people.

How do you get over the fact it’s not going to end well?

Start by not taking yourself too seriously. Come on now…who died and made you king?

Do your very best–the best you can do–in one small thing. And whether or not it is enough to change the world won’t really matter.

If you followed your passion would you still be here now?

Don’t take it for granted that you could be happy if things were different. Instead try to be happy now. Be positive. Be aware. Be receptive to the gifts which life bestows in the present.
