Loss: Grieving, Mourning, Suffering–NOT LOST

My wife is a cancer survivor. Parents die. In our families, we are rapidly joining the lists of oldest relatives.

My children and most of my neices and nephews are young adults. Some have children of their own. A few served in the military. Others continued to earn advanced degrees. Variability is not predictable.

We do not choose our burdens when they are levied against us. We choose to carry (or attempt to carry) standards which empower those who  are to follow.

Recognize your gifts of diversity. Why construct a pyramid that blocks straight passage when you can build a tunnel through obstructed resources?
