Isn’t it a great feeling when all of your hopes, dreams, aspirations, thoughts, desires, and expectations can be summed up into one word?

What’s that word?

There are times in life when that word is “excellent” (answer to question, “How’s it going?”)

Other times (nobody asked–didn’t need to) the word could only be drawled out as fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu… (you get the picture)–not good.

Take a mental sheet of paper. Divide it into halves. Note the plusses and the minuses in your life as of this very moment. If there are more plusses than minuses then EXCELLENT! If the negatives outweigh the positives then at the very best you can put on a happy face and be confident in the fact that nothing lasts forever.

Think about it. The list changes. Plusses are added and taken away. The same is true for the negatives. It would be unrealistic to expect only plusses in life.  Similarly it is pessimistic to constantly look for upsets, taking pride in “I told you so’s,” always being a downer, and exhibiting unviting tendencies.

You’ve got to be positive. Have faith that if we hang in there things will get better.
