Cultivate, Germinate, Motivate, Lose

“I think I shall lose all motivation if/when…”

Will we make it? I don’t know. If we don’t it won’t be because we didn’t try.

If you can’t be the one who helps others, become the one who helps those who help others.

I set a goal in 1975 to become a high school Algebra teacher. (Overshot it…became an engineer in 1981.)

I set a goal in 2002 to become Linda’s caregiver so her odds for recovering from cancer might improve. (Overshot that mark too: created multiple initiatives as a caregiver’s advocate.)

Eyes wide open. What lies ahead? What LIES ahead? Eyes closed, shut tightly. It won’t be good for us. It will be worse for you.
