Folks in the caregiving business can share perspectives which they perceive might apply and those for which they surmise are true. If you need other insights or something more…keep searching.

Don’t give up…give out. Don’t lose hope…misplace it. Don’t accept any wooden nickels–which is to say the responsibility to become a better caregiver is yours, despite the offerings of others to intercede for you. You may not like the verbiage used or at times even the way it sounds (“So you’re so-and-so’s caregiver?”) but don’t shirk this.
