Caremore: How Fortunate!

I got a flat tire while going home in a rainstorm with my family. How fortunate that I stopped driving too fast and dangerously!

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. How fortunate that it was discovered in time so that she could be treated and I was able to become a better caregiver!

I lost my job. How fortunate that I was able to dedicate myself full-time to searching and was open to the alternative of finding a better one.

My daughter got sent to prison. How fortunate that we, as her family, drew closer while learning to support those in need.

The choice to live a private, closed, and entitled life is not fortunate. How selfish and uneventful would that be?
